Franco-german- serbian project: an intercultural, feminist online experiment.
The associations zukunst e.V. (Germany), Peuple et Culture (France) and Volonterski centar Vojvodine (Serbia) invite you to participate in an intercultural project " Purple Web".
Purple Web is a cycle of intercultural, feminist, online gatherings, created and designed to get people in contact and provide space to explore and exchange ideas in an active way. Over the course of 5 Zoom calls and asynchronous explorations, we will gather persons from France, Germany, Serbia and the region, to explore the topics of gender, women’s empowerment, and togetherness in COVID times.
We want to create and nurture a safe space to share experiences and ideas on the current situation of women in the different areas where the participants are located, and to create an intercultural dialogue on gender and solidarity.
This event is for all cis and trans women, as well as non-binary people who are comfortable and interested in a space that centres the experience of women.
Participants should be aged 18+, located in France, Germany, or Serbia and the region. The team will be speaking and translating in French, German, and Serbian, so in order to participate you must be comfortable with working in one of these languages. English is not 100% mandatory but it will make participation much easier.
The project consists of 5 dates, each between 17.30 and 20.00. These are not webinars! It is important to participate in all sessions. Participants will also be asked to explore diverse tasks between sessions, so for the full experience make sure you will be able to give at least one hour between each call.
