Zukunst & Friends #4
Zukunst & friends is an annual festival created by our association to present our various productions created throughout the year, but also to meet on stage with our various partners from Germany and other countries and discover their creations.
The festival is financially supported by the Bürgerfond.
For the 4th edition of the festival, which will take place between November 24 and 26, 2023 at Neue Bühne Friedrichshain, we have put together an explosive program with three special guests:
Improfusion, our partner for German-French improvisational theater, L'impro Erard, our partner for French improvisational theater, and Aqui y Ahora, our dance partner from Toulouse.

Pompomburg - The Musical

Pompomburg was founded on the site where the Garden of the Hesperides once stood and is now a quiet village. The inhabitants live off love, fresh water and red and green apples. But the arrival of the famous businessman Victor Velain shatters this tranquillity. Cider, corrupt politicians, a retired revolutionary, agricultural squabbles and a love story - all the ingredients are there to make "Pompomburg" an explosive musical!

A Trip through Argentina [Contemporary dance/music]
Our partner Aqui y Ahora, invites us on a trip to Argentina with two brand new performances. These are the few words our partners have shared with us about their upcoming performances:
Contemporary dance performance: Somatic Paciencia
Este cuerpo ùtero, útero de tierra , de agua y de aire.
Aqui esta para nombrarse,
Para sentirse
Es un momento , sólo un momento
Sentarse en la synapsis.

This uterus body, womb of earth, water and air.

Argentinian folklore performance
The pachamama vibrates in the leguero bass drum.
Each step is the music of the earth.
"My mission and commitment is to spread the art and culture of Santiago, which is the mixture of two predominant races, the African Culture and the Native Culture (first settlers), and I will express myself with the help of two autochthonous instruments of my culture, the Bombo Leguero and the Boleadoras, which are mainly the projection of our feelings, the cry of our Race, Santiago del Estero".

Initiation workshop: Tango [Tango Dance]
The journey to Argentina continues on November 26 with a final performance by our partner Aqui y Ahora. Natalia Bearzotti will open the "doors" of the stage at Neue Bühne Friedrichshain to the public for a one-hour tango workshop with a real expert!
The workshop will be translated into English and/or German according to needs.
Born in Argentina, she trained in classical and contemporary dance and is primarily dedicated to tango. In 1999, she was awarded a scholarship for contemporary dance by the Antorchas Foundation and the French government. During her stay in France, she deepened her studies (improvisation and composition, Feldenkrais, anatomy for movement) at the Centre Chorégraphique de Lyon, Montpellier, Nantes and at the University of Paris 8, among others. At the same time, she completed training in functional analysis of movement in the danced body at the Centre National de la Danse in Paris. In 2010 she received her D.U.A.S.
Natalia shines with her rigor as well as her freedom and generosity. She responds to her students, listens to them and makes beginners feel comfortable by approaching dance in a playful way. She enables advanced dancers to receive new impulses and find new ways of working and developing. In the course of her 25 years of experience in various pedagogical projects, she has developed a sensory pedagogy that focuses on the perception of body-space-musicality of movement.
