Pompomburg is the result of a recent collaboration with La Menagerie and was born out of a shared desire to play, dance and sing together. Each of the artists has contributed to the creative process of this new musical. Following its success at its premiere in November 2023 as part of our annual festival "zukunst & friends#4", Pompomburg, The Musical, returns! For those who have not yet had the opportunity to see the play, here is a short summary :

Pompomburg was founded on the site where the Garden of the Hesperides once stood and is now a quiet village. The inhabitants live off love, fresh water and red and green apples. But the arrival of the famous businessman Victor Velain shatters this tranquillity. Cider, corrupt politicians, a retired revolutionary, agricultural squabbles and a love story - all the ingredients are there to make "Pompomburg" an explosive musical!
